Luther's Small Catechism is a valuable guide to the Lutheran/Christian faith, with direct Biblical references in a "question and answer" format. It has been used in the Lutheran Church since 1529 and continues to be a great tool for understanding God's will for our lives as it is written in the Bible.

The SJLC Youth Group is open to all Jr. and Senior High School students. Age appropriate activities, fellowship, and Bible study are scheduled in meetings that are held on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Contact us for more information!
Cub Scouts: St. James Lutheran Church is sponsor for a Cub Scout Pack #745. Scouts are received from the community and not only children of St. James members. Contact us for more information!

The JJ’s is for youth in grades 4 through 6. Age-appropriate activities, fellowship, and Bible study are part of the program. Contact us for more information!
Softball is open to St. James’ members who are confirmed and at least 15 years of age. This group forms a team that plays in a co-ed softball league with area Lutheran churches. The season begins in late April with games played on Sundays and concludes with a tournament during the Brat and Craft Festival (early Aug). Contact us for more information!
