St. James Lutheran Church Ministries and Organizations

Fellowship Society: Is open at all members of the St. James Lutheran Church congregation. This organization meets monthly to promote fellowship of all congregational members.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML): This group is open to all women of the St. James Lutheran Church congregation. This organization meets monthly for the purpose of missionary outreach.

St. James Gang: Is open to all adults, under 30, of the St. James Lutheran Church congregation. This organization meets monthly to promote fellowship of all interested members through active outings.

Young at Heart: Is open to all adults, over 55, of the St. James Lutheran Church congregation. This organization meets monthly to promote fellowship of all interested members through appropriate activities or outings.

8x8: Is open to all adult couples of St. James' congregation. This group meets monthly to promote fellowship through more individual activities generally held in a host home.

Youth Group: Is open to all Jr. and Senior High School students. Age appropriate activities, fellowship, and Bible study are scheduled in meetings that are held on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm. Contact us here (attn: Rodney Jackson or Lesa Kuebler) for more information.

JJ's: Is open to St. James youth in grades 4 through 6. Age appropriate activities, fellowship, and Bible study are scheduled for this group.

Dartball: Is open to all members of St. James congregation. This group meets once a week (Thursdays at 8:00 pm) in the winter months to play baseball with darts against teams from surrounding churches.

Softball: Is open to St. James members who are confirmed and 15 years of age. This group forms a team that plays in a co-ed softball league with area Lutheran churches. The season begins in late April with games played on Sundays and concludes with a tournament during the Brat and Craft Festival (early Aug).

Cub Scouts: St. James Lutheran Church is sponsor for a Cub Scout Pack #745. Scouts are received from the community and not only children of St. James members.

Boy Scouts: St. James Lutheran Church is sponsor for a Boy Scout Troop #743. Scouts are received from the community and not only children of St. James members.

Sunday Services, 8:00AM, 9:30AM, 11:00AM
Adult Bible Study: Thursdays, 10:00AM
Children's Sunday School: Sundays, 9:15AM
Adult Choir: Thursdays, 7PM during Fall and Spring
